Clients Business Profile

As per the constitution of India, taking care of the water supply and sanitation needs of the citizens is a responsibility of State Governments and its lower tiers of governance such as the Zilla Parishad, Urban Local Bodies and to some extent the Gram Panchayats also. Accordingly, the Ministry of Water Supply and Sanitation along with the department of Water Supply and Sanitation was created in 1996 in Maharashtra to exclusively concentrate on the poor coverage and access to these essential services in both urban and rural areas.
The Ministry is responsible for setting the policies for the State in this sector and coordinate with the Central Government and other key institutions.
The Ministry is headed by the Minister of Water Supply and Sanitation and is supported by the State Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation. The Secretary heads the Water Supply and Sanitation Department (WSSD).

Clients Business Profile

The Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, previously the Maharashtra Water Supply and Sewerage Board was constituted in January, 1997 under the Maharashtra Water Supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1976 for rapid development and proper regulation of Water Supply and Sewerage services in the State of Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran is one of the technical wings of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department of the Government of Maharashtra, implementing all water supply works in the State. Its Head Offices are located in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai and has field offices in the entire State. The Member Secretary is the Chief Executive Officer of the Pradhikaran, having the status of Secretary to Government. He is assisted by a Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer, Superintending Engineers in-charge of C.P.D.M., Quality Control, H.Q.’s and Co-ordination among other Officers and Staff.

Clients Business Profile

‘Vision Mumbai’ an ambitious project executed by Government of Maharashtra to bring the infrastructure, housing, education of mumbai to international standards. The project is funded by Government of India and World bank international. The consultants of the project Mumbai Transformation Support Unit (MTSU) required an Online Reporting System (ORS) to govern the physical progress of all the ongoing projects.

Allied introduced a completely customized online reporting system where project managers of a project can remotely edit the progress and quanitative reports can be analysed by the management as well as the funding agencies.
